Highway Traffic Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8 s. 191.31:
- No person shall engage in an activity or use any device or material
for the purposes of evading, obstructing or interfering with the
effective operational electronic toll system.
Motor Vehicle Act,
135.1 A person commits an offence who, without lawful excuse, intentionally obstructs or otherwise interferes with the operation of a speed monitoring device or traffic light safety device, as those terms are defined in section 83.1(1).
There is no case law reported against sellers of radar detectors or spray, even the
allegation against the individual driver is very hard to prove!
